Families with a heart child or heart angel (parents and children) are invited to join us for a fun day out at Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway Society courtesy of the Kiwanis club of Waverley. The event is being held on Saturday 30 November 2024, 11am – 2pm with a sausage sizzle lunch offered from 11.30am onwards (please BYO water and soft drinks and your own lunch if the sausage sizzle doesn’t suit your family). There will be free miniature train rides on offer during the day. We gather together in the middle of the train park in a private area under cover. It’s a great event to come and meet other HeartKids families and enjoy a fun day out. This year we are going to make it a Christmas theme so please come dressed in something that reminds you of Christmas eg Christmas tshirt, hat, socks, earrings. We are hoping that Santa can visit at some time during the event and offer a small gift.
